Initially known as the "White Queen" Emma Grace Frost is a character from a series of comic books published by Marvel Comics.  Created by Chris Claremont and artist Johne Byrne, Emma Frost made her first appearance in January 1980 in Uncanny X-Men #129.

Since her first appearance Emma Frost has changed from one of X-Men's most dangerous foes to one of the series' main characters.
