Superman Wallpaper



Superman is a fictional character and one of the most famous and popular comic book superheroes of all time. Created by American writer Jerry Siegel and Canadian-born artist Joe Shuster in 1932 while both were growing up in Cleveland, Ohio, and sold to Detective Comics Inc. the same year Superman debuted in Action Comics #1 (June 1938), the character has since appeared in radio serials, television programs, films, comic books, newspaper strips and video games.

Superman Returns Wallpaper


Superman's return to Earth after a five-year absence spent looking for the planet Krypton. He soon re-assumes his secret identity of Clark Kent, and discovers that Lois Lane has a five-year-old son. Not that that isn't bad enough, Lex Luthor has devised a devious new plan to defeat Superman. The late Marlon Brando's role as Jor-El is reprised with the help of computer generated imagery and earlier footage.

First published by Dark Horse Comics in 1988, intended as a sequel to James Cameron's Aliens, the first series features the characters of Rebecca 'Newt' Jorden and Corporal Dwayne Hicks. Further series featured Weyland-Yutani corporation, the United States Colonial Marines and further adventures of Ellen Ripley.  The series has had some notable crossovers, most popular being the Aliens vs.Predators series, but Batman, Superman and Judge Dredd have also had parts in the VS. series.
